17 things I have learned in 17 years.

Throughout your life, you learn many things. I have learned bad things, wonderful things, and inspiring things. To scale everything down to a smaller number, here are 17 lessons I have learned in the 17 years I have been in existence on this lovely planet. Thank you to my wonderful friend Erin, for suggesting this idea!

1. Don't let a bad day ruin your week

2.  Revenge only works momentarily.

3. Never insult someone for their dreams.

4. Cupcakes really are food for the soul. Along with coffee, oatmeal, and quinoa.

5.  Somethings are not as important to some people as they might be to you. Instead of forcing your views on everyone, show them why they are important.

6. As much as you would like to, you can not truly change anyone.

7. Never let someone dictate your future.

8. World language is the key to true communication.

9. Despite what your second grade teacher told you, you will NOT have to write in cursive when you are in high school.

10. Vegetables do taste good.

11. Worrying is silly. It's only beneficial if it can improve you, or your actions.

12. Be confident in who you are.

13. Blogging is tight.

14.  Time will always be precious.

15. Homework is overrated, and Ms. Cope gives to much of it.

16. So so so cliche, but in all honesty, life is never fair. And it will never be fair.

17. But, there is always hope. That is the beauty of life.
