Kelsey + Josh | Engagement

When I stepped into Cutters Point Coffee to meet up with Kelsey and Josh on the afternoon of their shoot, laughter filled the room and my eyes were quickly drawn to an adorable couple laughing hysterically with each other. This completely warmed my heart and I knew that I was in for a treat. Kelsey & Josh are two of the sweetest individuals that I have met. Seriously. After spending 5 hours with this incredible couple, I felt like we'd been friends for years. Kelsey is studying interior design at Seattle Pacific University, and Josh is a firefighter in the Thurston County area. Although they went to high school together, they reconnected a year ago at a college retreat with their church. I can only imagine much laughter was shared, but the rest was history for they are tying the knot this June and I am VERY glad I get to be there to capture it!  We cozied up in Josh's jeep and took a drive out to Shelton and ended up at the breathtaking Vance Creek Bridge, and we blessed with sunshine and a rain free sky.  Kelsey & Josh were so gracious and kept thanking me for spending the day with them, they even offered to buy me fries when we were finished. We were really hungry, okay?! But for the record, this is the type of shoot I completely adore!  When a client has a vision for their photos and desire for an adventure, i'm ALL about it.  Makes for a happy photographer and (in my opinion) fantastic images.
