Politics?

As being the young age of 17, I try to make my best efforts to involve myself with politics, for I believe that our generation is the generation that will make substantial change. But,  we need to take off that mask of ignorance and give politics a chance. That is why when my friend Samm asked me to go to a rally with her, I agreed. 

As we walked down to the Capitol, we did not know what to expect. We heard chanting, cheering, and a few tunes of Yankee Doodle. Not only did we not know what to expect, we didn't know what side we stood on with the issues being rally'ed about. It was an interesting event, and we both had an eye opening experience.
